Bring House of Oddities to Your City!
House of Oddities has partnered with Tugg.com http://www.tugg.com/titles/house-of-oddities, a web-platform that enables individuals, groups, and organizations to set up personalized screenings of House of Oddities in theaters and community venues across the country. Tugg.com has a network of over 90% of the theaters in the US, so there is no shortage of venues in which House of Oddities could potentially screen at.
How to Request a Screening in Your City
The process is simple: 1. Fill out the Event Request Form to pick the date, time, and place for your special screening. 2. The theater approves the request, and you can begin selling tickets on your personalized Event Page. 3. Sell enough tickets before the event deadline to confirm your screening. If you don’t meet this “Threshold,” no one will be charged and your event will be called off. 4. Sit back and enjoy the movie with your community! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to the Tugg Team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Perks of Being an Event Promoter
Being the Promoter of a screening has its benefits. Promoters end up receiving a 5% cut of the ticket presales just for organizing a successful event. In addition to the 5%, for each promoter of a successful event, you will receive a signed DVD copy of House of Oddities: The Story of the Atrocity Exhibition as a token of our gratitude. Tugg has created a fantastic resource guide in how to make the most out of your screening campaign and attract the necessary presale tickets for your event.
